It has been said, 'time heals all wounds.' I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.

MEET TAD

Tad Allen Humpal passed away on January 11, 2013 at 19 years old. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on December 17, 1993 to Scott and Gaby Humpal. He attended IWA, Luther Jones Elementary, London Middle School, and Flour Bluff High School. He had a competitive spirit and won championships in soccer, baseball, basketball, and tennis. No one loved to play and compete in sports more than Tad. He had one speed ... full speed ahead. He had many accomplishments in his short life. In junior tennis, he was one of the top 50 tennis players in the country. Everywhere he went, people remembered him. He was friendly, inquisitive, and almost always had a smile on his face. People were naturally drawn to him because he was truly one of a kind. He loved to show off his athletic talents. He had a strong faith for someone of his age and often felt the presence of God in his life. He was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandchild and friend. He had a kind heart and soul and was loved by many.
